Please pray for Vanessa, an 18 year old prostitute

I have not seen Vanessa since the original date, but continue to pray for her daily. I do note, with some sadness, that an animal prayer thread has over 5 times as many replies as this one. Some years back, Seattle Judge Michael J. Fox (-not the actor!), noted in his rendering of a verdict in the Pasado the donkey torture trial, that he had received an unprecedented volume of mail suggesting a harsh sentence for those who had tortured the donkey. He juxtaposed that response with another sentencing he had in which a prostitute was murdered and dumped into a dumpster. Not one letter.

Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.

Merciful God, You created Vanessa out of immeasurable love for her. Watch over her and may Your Holy Spirit speak to her in her moments of desperation. Amen.

Mother Mary, we humbly ask that you intercede with your Divine Son on behalf of Vanessa, that her heart will be won over by love of Him. May her heart turn from sin, much as Mary of Magdala repented of sin and loved only your Blessed Son, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

She had not heard of the unfathomable love that God has for her. I advised her that God was calling on her to turn away from sin and toward Him. May the Divine Mercy of the Lord continue to be shown to Vanessa. May the Lord place in her path the proper people who would give her confidence to seek the Lord. Help her to find worthwhile employment and break loose the shackles of addiction, if any, that keep her bound. We pray for the conversion of Vanessa. The Lord loves each of us and continues to call to each of us. Help Vanessa to find a means to answer. And bless po18guy for being such a blessed soul to tell others of Your love and mercy.

Jesus please take this girl into Your loving care. You sent her to our brother to speak to her of You. Please speak healing love and truth deep into her heart and mind and give her means to live a wholesome life in Your love.

Please take into Your loving care also all who fell into similar life- traps. Jesus be merciful, and lead others to be merciful to them and to help rescue them.

This is an old thread, but I know there’s some reason it must have been started again.

I’ve read through this and will certainly pray for this girl no matter what has happened over the last several months…
