Father, I pray for bre and his intention. I thank you that you love us all and want us to find our way home to you not just for eternity, but in our day-to-day lives here as well. Lord I lift up our areas of woundedness to you, I lift up our areas of foolish willfulness, or even ignorance to you - our areas of sickness and selfishness. Father, have mercy on us, because of the blood of Your Son, Jesus, shed on our behalf. Look on us, all of us, not as we are, but as who we can become in Your Son as we are conformed to His image by Your will. Give us the grace and desire to turn from what so easily besets us, and to set our sight firmly on the goal of Your kingdom set before us…
