Please pray that God lets me pray the rosary

Please pray for me. I want to do God’s will. I get that spiritual peace in giving up the rosary. Is there something wrong here? Would God really tell me to do this? When I was kneeling before the Blessed Sacrament this sensation was even stronger. Has this ever happened to any of you? I don’t want to give up the rosary, but I don’t want to go against God. Please pray for me.

I’m confident God did not ask you to give up the rosary unless you have become OCD about it and it’s a health issue. Why don’t you choose a nice Novena to pray instead for the next 9 days then return to your rosary.

Pick something that is in your heart for the benefit of others and offer that as your intention. I’m betting when you are through with your Novena you will feel at peace.

I would testify before the whole world that this is NOT my OCD. I was kneeling before the Sacred Host, and when I tried praying the rosary while holding the beads, He was telling me no; in the spiritual sense of how we can sense that spiritual joy and peace. I hope He was just talking about holding the beads and this to be something temporary.

It seems to me that the Lord drew you to Himself, and that is simply not the time to pray with words.

It doesn’t sound like He does not want you to pray the rosary, just not at that time.

That’s not God! You heard the deceiver. Talk to Father, as there is only one who would dare to oppose the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

There is a time for everything.
The Rosary is Christ-centered, nothing at all against it. Maybe God wanted you to contemplate Him at that point in time. Give it time and as long as the time you would have taken to say the Rosary is used to contemplate or meditate on God, I see no reason to worry.
I am, however, lost for advice if you happen to be a member of The Confraternity of the Holy Rosary.
 
I agree with the other members; talk to your Spiritual Director or local priest. Also, as others have said as well, it may be that God just didn’t want you to pray it just then. Try the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, or the St. Michael Chaplet. Mary, we place this cause in your hands. Help your child to see your Child’s will. Amen.
 
When you pick up the Rosary, ask Our Lady to guide you, and to protect you,and to ask God to send you the Holy Spirit to Enlighten you,God LOVES you and Mary will come to your aid ,to help you. AMEN :harp:

I think what is, is that He doesn’t want to hold rosary beads, but I’ll see what to do. Yes, I will talk to a Priest about this.
