No wonder there is so much misinformation and confusion – so little is known by those who mislead others.
Check the references to CCC #2357: Gen 19:1-29; Rom 1:24-27; 1 Cor 6:10; 1 Tim 1:10. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for the grave depravity of sodomy – the acts are “intrinsically disordered”. St Paul is equally blunt.
Christ was extremely severe with His Apostles, on occasion.

Pope Pius XI’s Encyclical Casti Connubii, 1930, teaches infallibly (#56) that “any use whatsoever of matrimony exercised in such a way that the act is deliberately frustrated in its natural power to generate life is an offense against the law of God and of nature, and those who indulge in such are branded with the guilt of a grave sin.”

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. That’s my whole point. Homosexual people commit worse sins than anyone else in the entire creation and to add to it, our inclinations are intrinsically and objectively disordered, which makes me, a homosexual person, a disgusting piece of filth, yes?

If a homosexual person wants to be saved, what does one do? Maybe cut off his genitals? No, that would be the mortal sin of self-mutilation. Go to confession? Okay, but don’t a homosexual’s sins count for double and by contrast, his penances count for half? Does he have to go to confession twice as once will only forgive part of the guilt of sin? Maybe homosexual persons should realize that they cannot be saved and kill themselves, but that would be a mortal sin to recommend that, which the Church can never do and it would be a false doctrine, which the Church can never teach. Hmm…maybe people who cannot separate homosexual persons (who may be chaste) from homosexual acts can take up the holy cause and kill all the homosexuals while yelling “ICHABOD! ICHABOD! ICHABOD!”

BTW, I am accursed with homosexuality, I hate it. I loathe it. I despise it. I would get rid of it if only I could. If a super drug that could eliminate all forms and traces of same-sex attractions were developed, I’d volunteer for preliminary trials, even if there were a danger of death upon taking it. SSA has destroyed my life and I’ve actually had thoughts about whether or not existence would be better off if I never existed because I hate having SSA so much. That’s what I live with, every day.

I did not get that from the previous post to me it seemed that hetrosexual couples praticing birth control are worse of than you…in fact read the encyclical again it couldn’t apply to you cause matrimony can’t be applied to yourself.
You are the one who came up with the doubling of sin and half penace nobdy else said that.
Try being hetro and committing the sin of adultry,by doing mb, yeah now that’s double sin.

Actually, it IS a Christian doctrine.

There is no sin that Christ does not hate and there is no sinner that Christ does not love. And since we are called to be Christlike, it follows that we must do the same.

But what passes for worldly ‘love’ is not the love is truely Christian.

Think about it, Christ called certain sinners " A nest of vipers". That was an infinitely loving act. It was even infinitely charitable, in the ‘caritas’ origin of the word. He overturned tables with a whip in His hand.

All of that was infinite love, it was part of loving the sinner.

A key part of love is pointing out when a brother is sinning, when they are placing their soul in mortal danger. In fact, if you truely LOVE the sinner, you cannot keep silent about it.

Christ did not, and we cannot either.
