Will one confession serve for more than one PI?

Yes, a single confession can cover multiple PIs as long as you remain in a state of grace. A separate communion is required for each one. I think you could conceivably get PIs for 20 straight days on a single confession. If I am wrong on this, perhaps someone can chime in. I usually go no longer than two weeks between confession. If I really slip up, I’ll go sooner.

One confession is good for 20 days if you stay in a state of grace.
If you’re looking for something you can do at home for a plenary indulgence, I recommend that you read Scripture prayerfully for a half hour. Most other plenaries require you to be at a church or oratory or shrine.

You do need one communion per indulgence so you at least need to go to church for that, but I know sometimes they want to lock up right after and don’t give you time to say a rosary or do stations in there. Or people have to go to work straight from Mass and can’t hang around to pray in the church.
