However, though you have successfully differentiated your stance from Marxism, you’ve actually presented another ridiculous world view. Your idea of a family-style business over factories and huge corporations are just plain failures in meeting the demands of a global market.
There are more important things than the global market. I don’t know if we can return to family style businesses, but the focus does need to be more local than it is today. The global market is, in many ways, dehumanizing, and respecting the dignity of the human person is an important Catholic principle. What good has outsourcing and the global market done for the Rust Belt?Or are you going to say that too is a tool of devil?
