Police Clear Priest of Child Porn Allegations

The priest who had been accused has said "you can imagine now I have to work with the parishioners as well as the people. I have to go to the malls … It was really stressful to know the situation and people labeling judging you.
OPP stands for Ontario Provincial Police, the police service of Ontario, Canada.
 
Thank You, God, for allowing Truth to be revealed. Thank You also for giving people courage to challenge and oppose what appeared to them to be evil, may they be supported for doing the right thing and relieved of any regret that they were mistaken.
 
Prayers for the priest and for his ruined reputation, and possibly his ruined “career” serving the Lord.
 
I’m happy he has been cleared, but still I wonder what websites were visited that would include advertising links to child porn sites. :confused:

Seriously? Is CAF the only place you go on the internet? Heck, I get that kind of crud advertising just from ordering auto parts online! It’s everywhere these days. That said, I’ve had pop-up ads blocked for a long time, but even banner ads get nasty sometimes.

When I visit a site about cars, I see advertising links for car stuff. When I visit a site about sports, I see advertising links for sports stuff. When I visit a site about Hollywood celebrities, I see advertising links for Hollywood celebrities stuff. That’s the whole point of targeted advertising.

I visit a lot of sites and I always see advertising links, but I never see links to child porn sites. Now, if I were to visit some shady overseas sites, I might see something like that so it makes me wonder how such links appeared when visiting “legit” sites.
 
I am very glad he is cleared.
I am VERY concerned that pop-ups could generate that!

You’re not clearing out your cookies very often then. Hmm, maybe that’s not such a bad thing after all…
