Hi all,

I just recieved a sad email from a friend of mine. If you will, please read the email and pray for the officer and his family. I changed the names a bit for obvious reasons. Thank you for anyone who replies.

I received these emails from POFCI Nor Cal President, J.C and have shard this with the POFCI (Peace Officers for Christ)/ New Orleans Team; but want to ask you all to pray for this Officer and his family. Also, please prayerfully consider helping out financially if you can.

In His service,

J.M

I just got off the phone with Chaplain J.C. He is asking us to pray for Officer Theolonius D. (nickname “Tank”) and his wife. Officer D was shot last Friday defending his wife and family during a home-invasion robbery of his own home in New Orleans. Officer D. was willingly giving his property and money to the thugs when they turned on his wife and intended to attack her. When that happened, he reached for his gun on an ankle holster to defend her and they shot him. He is now in a coma in the hospital with severe damage to his kidneys. His wife was shot by the suspects in her foot and she is physically going to do ok.

Please pray for this man and his family, that our Lord would heal his physical body and give peace to his family.

God Bless you all.

Jon

Hello Captain C.,

Due to complications, family was called in for Officer D. yesterday due to the concerns of the medical staff. Theolonius unfortunately has become septic and his oxygen saturation has also become of great concern to medical personnel.

Theolonius’s son and his namesake Theolonius Jr. also had a new baby boy yesterday.

Please thank you for your continued prayers and support. I will continue to keep you posted.

Peace

Joe

Chris Forsyth forwarded this to me with a suggestion that we circulate. I know that many of you have been praying for this officer and his family since he was shot defending his wife 2 weeks ago. Please continue to share this prayer request with your contacts.

I would like us to consider a donation to the family from POFCI. Would anyone please make a motion and suggest an amount?

According to Chaplain J. in New Orleans, Officer D. was very close to death on Tuesday. The doctors called in the family, and his prognosis was not good. Dukes condition is still very serious, but he has improved each day this week. His wife attributes this entirely to prayer. Praise to our healing and loving God!

Blessings in HIS Name,

JC

Merciful Lord, look with love on your servant who placed himself in danger for those he loved, in imitation of Christ. As he has served with humility, bless him with the riches of Heaven, that he will recover from his injuries and continue to serve You, his most gracious and loving God. We ask this through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.

Praying for the officer and will light Candles on Sunday at mass, :gopray: :gopray:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

We thank you Heavenly Father for the courage that your servant Tank has shown. Please reward both he and his family with his life. We ask you to bring him from the depths of what he has endured physically and emotionally keep him sound. Hold his hand each day Sweet Jesus, help him to see your face and know that he is needed and loved. We ask that Mary would console this wife and child and shield them from the continual hurt of this act. The father has given them a wonderful man in Tank, blessed be His Holy Name. Moreover, mercy be shown to these imbiciles who did this to an innocent family with little regard for other human brothers. Holy Spirit help this family to not become hardened in bitterness but to praise the Lord for saving this man.

Amen.
