The Catholic bishops of Poland will not alter the Church’s consistent teaching that Catholics who are divorced and remarried cannot receive the Eucharist, the president of the country’s episcopal conference has said.

True but the Poles seem to know the rules on communion anyway. Same for the Hispanics. At any Mass you’ll see half the congregation sitting in the pews.

Good for them.

I think this was more of a prudential declaration in the light of some rather “creative” interpretations of a recent Papal document. Still, it was a timely reminder. 👍
