Polish Catholics see miracle in communion wafer [Yahoo! News]

I’m going to nitpick and say that it isn’t a “communion wafer,” but the Body of Christ! But hey…what can ya do? 😉

It is the Body of Christ, but this is for a secular audience----if they said, “the appearance on the Body of Christ of a dark spot that they are convinced is part of the heart of Jesus”, nobody but Catholics and Orthodox Christians would know what they were talking about.

From the end of the linked article: “A group of rationalists complained about the matter in 2008, and called on authorities to investigate if a murder or other crime was involved if human flesh was indeed found on the wafer.”

Well, sort of… but it happened 2000 years ago 😃

Looking at that picture… Where exactly is the Body of Christ? :confused: I see the blood and human tissue of which they speak of, but I can’t see the Eucharist itself. Anyone want to clarify?

Also, wonderful miracle! I’m Polish, so this was extra special to hear about 😃

To me it looks like the Body is covered, over some sort of fabric, with only the human tissue and blood showing. Not too sure though. 🤷
Also, wonderful miracle! I’m Polish, so this was extra special to hear about 😃

I’ve always loved the Polish - one can’t ignore such an important country in European history! 🙂
