Where is the No option?
Havenā€™t cried since I was a kid, so not even ā€˜rarelyā€™ applies.

I cry sometimes when reading these forums. @(name removed by moderator) has made me cry the most for some reason.

I wish I could cry more; it releases endorphins. Music literally moves me to tears sometimes, but that is happy. Memories can make me cry, usually more good than bad, but definitely both can move me to tears. I probably cry just a few times a year, if that. I cried a lot when I was a teenager, 20s, sad and happy. I think that might be normal, common - life just seems so volatile when you are young, typically things mellow out.

I put my tears in the gas tank of my car to power it for days.

Things can invoke tears from me: especially if Iā€™m watching something or hearing about something where somebody sacrifices in some way or forgives in a reaaaaally difficult situation.

I was thinking more - along the lines of - tears of repentance.
Not while watching a Hallmark movie.
But I do feel - all crying - does something nice for the Catholic soul.

i think most would cry over tears of sadness or loss - not repentance.
Hatchi is not a Hallmark movie. it is a true story about a man and his dog.
i guarantee if you havenā€™t cried in a long time, watching this movie will release a flood of tears. crying is supposed to be good for you because it does release endorphins as another poster said.

I guess it depends upon why one cries. Sadness rarely pushes me to tears, but blind rage will do it every time. šŸ”„šŸ’£šŸ’„šŸ˜ Luckily, I rarely get that angry anymoreā€¦

Crying is my expression towards pain or stress. So I cry for the reasons of heartache, loss or grief, intolerable physical pain, mental and psychological stress. Crying is good. It releases endorphins or a ā€œfeel goodā€ hormones that make us feel better after crying.

Yes, but unfortunately those red hearts disappear after a few minutes. I donā€™t know why itā€™s programmed like that.

I donā€™t think we are given enough likes, at all. Whatā€™s wrong with wanting to show more approval and encouragement to our fellow posters?

i have wondered the same thing. i think we need more. maybe we should ask the webmaster!

I normally shed tears at the reception of communion. This appeared during the struggles of the past ten years. When one is drowning in an ocean of mercy, oneā€™s eyes will be wet.
