Actually while you’re at it, why do you believe the abortion rate has gone down during the Obama Administration? Not saying I’m for Clinton, actually I am undecided, but I am curious as to your response.

Hi Deep Roots, I’m afraid you may have mistaken me for a Trump supporter since I was the one who said I’m not sure there are enough whites for Trump to overcome his lack of support among minorities. I wasn’t lamenting though. I was just stating a fact that his support among minorities is at best dismal, and I do think that creates an uphill battle for the guy. But that’s fine with me. He created his own problem with minorities. I was a Bernie supporter and like you, will be voting for Hillary Clinton.

Every republican who voted for Trump in the primaries when there were more pro life candidates should have been passionate about the babies.

Trump is somehow going to be the savior of the babies? :confused:

He has no prolife record at all. None.

He has not record on anything. That’s kind of the appeal of an outsider candidate…

The primaries are over. There is a candidate that does have a record on pro life issues. She has quite the record…

For the record I don’t think anyone us going to be an American savior. I fear for our future with even the best of candidates. But if we are going to go down, let’s go down swinging…

I only know you from here, but I can imagine that if you ran for President, even without any political background, it wouldn’t be difficult for you to prove that you had prolife background.

Trump is from New York City. There’s an incredibly high abortion rate in NYC. About 40-50 percent. One would think if he were pro life he would have been at least financially involved in the New York prolife movement. Just a little bit?

Instead, the Wall Street journal released radio clips where Trump was critical of a college group that promotes chastity on campus. He didn’t get why would anyone want to be chaste in college. Another clip, he was critical when hearing statistics about the percentage of women who would not participate in one night stands. These weren’t from the 70’s and '80s, they were from 7 - 8 years ago. A sixty something guy, confused that chastity was a thing.

Fact: The abortion rate has declined during the Obama administration. I’d guess that the decline is due to improving economic conditions.

There are two givens in the abortion fight. Whenever those or us in the pro-life ministry manage to get more restrictive laws passed, planned parenthood defunded and increase our outreach to women in a crisis pregnancy we will be fought tooth and nail by the Democrat Party. Whenever we manage to bring the abortion rate down they will take credit for it

True. While I don’t attempt to walk in a woman’s shoes, I would imagine their economic condition is just one of the reasons why women might choose a safe and legal abortion. And their ability to provide for healthcare and childcare are also of course intertwined. That they advocate for the slaughter and murder of babies is probably not at the top of their list of reasons though.

I wasn’t questioning it, I know it has declined. For many reasons including more women are receiving free birth control, sex education to include abstinence as an option, less women are having sex especially those who are unmarried, and when they do and get pregnant more are making the choice to have their children, the movie Juno, and the efforts of pro-lifers are working including their prayers, and God…Thank you Lord!

Ironically, Obama did have a lot to do with that.
Every time the feds make noise about taking guns away, people stock up.
Obama makes more noise about the ‘guns and religion’ crowd than any president before him.
