The NY article is misleading and suggests that he was involved in daily duties up until last week. This is not the case. Bishop Clifford took over in March 2009.

I’ve often used it to check news in Ireland.
Also the Irish Times website www.irishtimes.com It’s definitely carrying Dr Magee’s resignation irishtimes.com/newspaper/breaking/2010/0324/breaking33.html
