Hm, I’m not sure if this can be considered ‘news’, as it was a column in a local newspaper. But I wanted to share because it made my day yesterday.

Basically it surprised the heck out of me. I wasn’t expecting to read such a pro-Catholic column in the middle of a very secular paper. It kind of made my day and maybe it’ll make you smile too.
A quote from the last line of the article:
“It’s easy, fashionable and painless to be a pope-basher and an anti-Catholic. But so boring, tired, anti-intellectual and bigoted. Some of us prefer truth, goodness and morality. Much more fun you know.”
It’s in response to the Papal bashing that’s been going on.

Clearly I know my ‘personalities’ in Canada. I guess this guy is pretty well known: michaelcoren.com/, also clearly I don’t pay much attention to mainstream media. Haha.
