Will any of this go to the poor people in the eastern part of the country who have been denied their pensions by Kiev?
Pensioners receive a pension from the Ukraine. But Putin has betrayed the gutted region.
And this suggests that Putin cared about something else and not about the people.

Yes, that’s why I informed about this news on the forum.
I know that 80% of Ukrainians live below the poverty line.
There are hundreds of thousands of refugees in the country, and regions where it is very difficult economic situation.
I am more than sure that Ukraine is the place where world should pay charitable attention to.

Ukraine could save a lot of money if it followed through on the Minsk II peace agreement which it signed along with Germany, France and Russia. But it refuses to do so.

we know that one and half million people in the occupied regions of Ukraine found themselves at risk of starvation. especially the elderly, the infirm and lonely

If you are talking about the poor people in the occupied territories of Ukraine - I’m sure they won’t receive a single penny of cash, as this land is out of the control of the law. All the aid will most probably be provided in food and commodities.

I mean that there are so many crying needs that where youturn around - there are needs and needs.

Activists are furious at Petro Poroshenko for not tackling corruption—while keeping offshore, tax-dodging accounts.
KIEV — … On Friday, at about 1 p.m., groups of protesters organized by Automaidan, a civic movement, set the car tires on fire in the center of Kiev.
…There were plenty of reasons for Ukrainians to run out of patience. President Poroshenko’s pre-election promise “to wipe the country clean” of corruption now looked like a sad joke. While majority of population lives on less than $500 a month, Poroshenko grew richer by $100 million in the last couple years and is now worth about $858 million, according to Forbes. People believe that during the months when Ukrainian soldiers were dying on the Donbas front lines, the president was more concerned about his own welfare…"

Ukraine was ‘promised’ IMF funding, joining the EU and the earth, moon and stars…when the protests were taking place, in December 2014. That all seems to have rapidly disappeared, most likely after Crimea went back to Russia as there was no ‘reward’ for those that made the promises.

The charade of the recent NL vote against Ukraine joining the EU was also below the belt.

Why not take a referendum on Turkey joining, or any other country. Not that it infers Ukraine will not be allowed to join the EU, however has Ukraine received anything since all the ‘promises’ made in December 2014?

Incomes and high finance of business elites its an international webs, its not only the local problem. And the more the West will assist in the monitoring of these issues the better. But the people who raised the question of assistance to Ukraine are the nation’s spiritual authorities whom we trust, and they are the people who really care about this country.

Almost 10,000 people dead, more that 20,000 injured, hundreds of thousands of refugees.
“60% of the victims of humanitarian crises are elderly people.

“if children lose their parents or if they live only with their mothers – and this is frequently the case - they are abandoned because on 40% of requests for a place at a nursery are accepted. In such cases, the mother cannot work and cannot be the family breadwinner because she has to look after the chidren”.

Political and social instability, a conflict that rages on outside the media spotlight, children who have stopped going to school, refugees, a lack of basic goods are just some of the realities of the current situation in Ukraine.

Yatsenyuk has resigned. Victoria Nuland had called him the man who could reform Ukraine for the better. But things have gotten only worse under Yatsenyuk, with prices skyrocketing 45%.

Everyone has their own responsibility before God.
Everyone will answer for their actions in office.
There are giving that I do not trust but there are giving to which I trust with all my heart.

The pope announced his desire that a special collection be taken up in all Catholic churches, particularly in Europe, on Sunday, April 24, to both raise awareness and alleviate the suffering.

I think she said this before Russian separatists supported by Russia were whittling away at the Ukraine, and gobbling up portions of it for themselves.

p.s. Prices have skyrocketed in Crimea as well. Just saying.
