And just as it should be since we are witnessing such an incredible loss of faith these days. Mary, The Breaker of Heresies, The Un-doer of Knots, The Queen of Heaven and Earth, and The Splendor of the Church is always and forever our intercessor.

I hope many are called to do the Plenary Indulgence offered during this time as a means to their sanctification.

Mary is the mediatrix of all grace from the Holy Spirit. It is through the devotions of the Rosary and the Scapular that the whole world will be saved. If Mary isn’t part of our evangelization then it’s not going to be very effective. If we don’t ask for Mary’s intercession in our parishes then they won’t be vibrant.

There’s probably a perfect correlation between the number of Rosaries that a parish prays, and how many people are going through the RCIA program, are attending Mass, and are otherwise involved in the ministries of that parish.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary intercede for the Church Militant. Amen.

👍

The catechism states that devotion to Mary is intrinsic to Christian worship, but sadly some of the more modern movements have abandoned all mention or honor of her. I suspect that only those who pray a daily Rosary know the real power it holds. Today just happens to be Holy Rosary Sunday in our diocese with a program being given at our cathedral by our bishop with the K of C Knights in full regalia.
