Wonderful instruction from Pope Francis! I hope we all find some way to help the various Roman Catholic Church’s Lenten Campaigns. May we also find ways to strenghen our own parishes.
All across the world, the Gospel of Christ is being exemplified by the outreach provided by so many noble Lenten campaigns. The Roman Catholic global imprint is one of love, mercy and great generosity. It is a beautiful testament.
We must always remember that we are members of the “true” Church, founded by Christ Himself. Please don’t allow all of the bickering and angst to obscure the fact that many, many Roman Catholic modern day saints are quietly doing the work of the Lord in so many parts of this troubled world.
I, in all humility, am ever-proud to be an active, practicing member of the Roman Catholic Church. May Our Lady watch over and protect all of our brothers and sisters who are out there on the fringes living the Gospel message.
