When somebody falls in love with a person the one thing that will kill that love is constantly asking or saying things like:

The Bible, meaning Divine Revelation, tells us all about souls. Science cannot comment on souls since they cannot be studied in the laboratory. I view any confusion as coming from those who either don’t believe a soul exists in humans or those who think that pre-humans were alive and mating with modern humans, and with the idea that some had souls and some did not. That idea is a fantasy, and certainly cannot be shown to be true by science.

I am not sure that animals of all kinds don’t have something akin to the old idea of a ‘spirit’ that survives in a different, perhaps in Paradise for all eternity?
But are they ‘dressed’ for being in the Divine Presence of God? I don’t think so, but only God truly knows.

Though it cannot be shown to be true by science does not mean it is fantasy, but only that it cannot be proved by science.
MOST truths we live by day to day are not provable by science, but are accepted by the trustworthy rep of the source/authority.

Yes, I do. However, instead of producing sterile offspring, the fact this DNA is still with us is strong evidence that Neanderthals were simply another racial type of humans. We have Oriental people and Pygmies.
