I can’t seem to find any news articles where Pope Francis has prayed for victims from the Houston Flooding (Hurricane Harvey). There is nothing about prayers or concerns on his Twitter account. Does any have a link to a News Item that I could share with others?

It’s odd how little press coverage this gets. Plus Bangladesh is suffering a refugee influx from Burma. A poor country with 8 million people affected by flooding and with a refugee crisis in top of everything.

It doesn’t get coverage because it doesn’t do anything to help further the media’s leftist narrative.

Bangladesh, formerly East Pakistan, used to have 250,000 people killed in their typhoons … they don’t call them hurricanes … but then someone invented radar … and now the number of casualties is much reduced.

South Asian floods have killed approx 1200 people in recent days
How many in the Western World knows about it?

I think CNN or FOX, heck maybe even PBS, could stoop down and pull a narrative out of the flooding in Bangladesh. But, for the time being, even that stretches their good judgement to far.

I was thinking the same thing this morning - had Pope Francis mentioned the
hurricane. I am glad to hear he had someone read a statement from him.

I watch or internet Al Jazeera. It’s coverage of global events is solid.

The USA weather event, it’s quite comprehensive coverage.

Myanmar , did you know 27K refugees crossed the border into Bangladesh this week.

Sierra Leonne, flooding, landslides have led to 200 or so dead recovered and an estimate of 600 dead in the mud. Crews are battling to get the dead out.

Yemen… what Saudi Arabia is doing is criminal. The Un is starting to voice a war crimes event.

Al Jazeera is banned from covering haji this year, but they are.

As one Saint said, we should know what’s going on.

Used to have?

We call them cyclones. Depends on the wind convection and global location. They are the same thing. Wind, rain, destruction.

But flooding is flooding. Of two thirds of the country is under water , I am not sure how radar can reduce this coverage?

If Al Jazeera is banned from covering the Haj, how are they covering it then?
they definitely have not been giving too much coverage to any disasters in other
countries as the American media is consumed with Hurricane Harvey (which they should be) and their daily task of how many ways can we trash Trump!
