Pope Francis arrived in Jordan on May 24 at the beginning of his three-day pilgrimage to the Holy Land and was welcomed at Al-Husseini Royal Palace in Amman by King Abdullah II and Queen …

I watched the EWTN coverage of his visit to Jordan today.
I was impressed by the speeches by both King Abdullah (I believe that is his name) and Pope Francis. I know the king has been a good ally of the united states and he is a very wise man who promotes christians worshipping alongside muslims in his country.
The Pope praised him for accepting christian refugees from syria, lebanon and iraq. I wish all leaders could be as wise as the king of jordan.
I pray for the Pope’s safety during the remainder of his trip.
