Just an old Catholic joke about blessing a dog: A woman’s dog dies. She really loved the dog and she decides to go to the local Parish Priest as says: “Father, could you please say a mass for my poor dog Max that just died?” The Priest explains, “We can’t have services for an animal in the church, but there’s a Protestant Church a few blocks down that may may do something for him.” “Thank you Father,” replies the grieving woman. On her way out, she pauses, turns around and comes back and asks; “Father, I’m not sure how much to tip a Protestant Minister. Do you think $5,000 is enough for the service?” The Priest exclaims, “Why didn’t you tell me it was a Catholic dog?”

I saw the blessing on ewtn. I thought that is so cool, Pope Francis blessing the dog.

Said Forlani: “He broke the ceremonial rules as my presence on stage with Asia wasn’t previously arranged.”
Our wonderful Pope breaks rules, and every time he does, it’s for the good.

I’m loving him more and more. And, what’s more, he seems to be having fun, which is not something one automatically thinks that the role of Pope involves much of… and that makes me even more glad 🙂

Oh how bountiful the Holy Spirit seems to be at the moment! 🙂

We’ll be looking extra forward to Oct. 4th this year.

Steinway, that’s funny.

For those of us who see God revealing Himself in all of His creation, we are over-joyed that we have a Pope who embraces that.

Yes, we humans are made in His image. But all of His creation is made in His All Holy Love.

Pray that our human egos never forget that. He is Creator of All Creation. Not just we feeble and very broken human beings.

All Creation give honor and glory to God ALmighty.
