Sunday morning. When I grew up the 7:00 am sunday mass was a no singing mass. Loved it. I could also walk to Mass.
Definitely not, but it could mean “from time to time incorporate Chant”. Our schola rotates around different parishes. So none of the parishes get all chant, all the time, it ends up being a treat for them once or so a year. It keeps the tradition alive, and it is not overbearing for the parishioners, plus it gives their regular choir a much-needed break. From the comments we get it seems much appreciated.I don’t know that mindful music has to mean, “Drop everything and do Gregorian chants.”
No doubt! Still, violence should not be part of the liturgy. So there were more issues with this older man than just “the Sign of Peace.”
Peeps, respectfully, why do you bother? Seems like there are no more “shoulder chips” for others. One person here has them all! Just know that Jesus’ “new” commandment (John 13:34) has not been learned yet.I’m not trying to control you, and neither was that old man. We are trying to teach you.
True, but reading the comments of late, there is more than “one slip in charity” here. It just gives us old grouchy men a bad name! LOL!We cannot judge this from afar, nor from close based on one slip in charity. Not everyone know how to deal with those who are… difficult, less than normal, etc.
