How interesting that when the USA, Germany, Holland, United Kingdom were salvaged in that remark; they are never defended.

What we do know is that some of the Slavic countries are not being hospitable and one of the Slavic countries is aligned with a regime accused of genocide at the United Nations.

This is changing the subject.

But apparently one said they were from Ireland, so I don’t know why this distinction is important between who is supporting the Syrian regime.

Yes, Ireland is being hospitable, we can see the Slavic nations are not allowing in refugees to any great degree and per the charitable giving index, it appears Slovenia and Croatia are doing reasonably well.

I’m sorry, weren’t you just complaining that America destabilized the Middle East by taking out the dictators?

These refugees are largely called Syrian refugees; without these, we might not even be looking at this problem even though the refugee population does include other peoples.

I don’t believe the US was involved in Syria, one might check their history.

I would love to say the US acts unilaterally in world affairs, but we haven’t done that since WW2. Now, whenever we do something, we must have the blessing of the UN, the EU, NATO, SEATO, and any country that can field a half-a-battalion of soldiers, etc, etc…

So please stop thinking that we are some kind of rogue nation acting on our own. We do the dirty work that the world wants done…

It’s very hard to look at the news coming out of Europe and agree that the “Arab Invasion” is a good thing.
Oh I agree but the issue as usual is what the Pope actually said in context to the actual questions asked and proper translation.

Follow, its the Daily Mail according to …
according to Bloomberg.
And according to what original source? Just saying its no biggie but a predictable issue. I’m usually rather reluctant to comment on him until the origins and context is known.

…From here a reflection of what the Hispanic and English speakers call “globalization” and we “globalization.” “There’s something that bothers me,” the Pope said. "Of course, globalization unites us and thus has positive aspects. But I think there are good and less good globalization. The less good can be represented by a sphere: every person is equal distance from the center. This first scheme separates man from himself, the uniformizza and eventually prevents him to express himself freely. The best globalization would be quite a polyhedron. All are united, but every people, every nation, retains its identity, its culture, its wealth. The stakes for me is this good globalization, which allows us to keep what defines us. This second vision of globalization allows to unite people while preserving their uniqueness, which favors dialogue, mutual understanding. So that there is dialogue, there is a condition sine qua non : starting with his own identity. If they are not clear with myself, if I know my religious, cultural, philosophical, I can not turn to another. There is no membership dialogue ".
“The only continent that can bring some unity to the world is Europe,” the Pope added. "China has perhaps a more ancient culture, more profound. But only Europe has a vocation of universality and of service. " Francis returns then on the theme of his speech in Strasbourg, on 25 November 2014, when he compared Europe to a grandmother a little 'tired. “But here is the mother became a grandmother” sorridecon a hint of irony. I think of the biblical stories, the old Sarah who laughs when he learns that gets pregnant. The question may seem strange, but I can not not do it. It’s too late? Grandma can once again become a young mother? “A head of state I have already asked this question,” replies the Pope. "Yes, it can. But under certain conditions. Spain and Italy have a birth rate close to zero. France gets along better because he built a family policy that encourages the birth. Being a mother means having children. " But the renewal is not only quantitative. "If Europe wants to rejuvenate, he must rediscover their cultural roots. Of all the Western countries, Europe has the stronger and deeper roots. Through colonization, these roots have even reached the new world. But forgetting its own history, Europe weakens. It is then that risks becoming an empty place. "
Europe has become an empty place? The sentence is strong. It hits the target and hurts. It is also distressing. Because in the history of civilization the void always calls the full. And then the Pope makes clinical analysis. "We can speak today of Arab invasion. It is a social fact, "he says with detachment, as if observed that the weather is cold. But he immediately added - and theorists of the “great change”, dear to the far right, then it would remain disappointed - "how many invasions has experienced Europe in the course of its history! But he has always been able to overcome herself, go ahead then they find themselves as increased by the exchange between cultures. " Which statesman will bring about such a renewal? “Sometimes I wonder where you’ll find a Schumann or Adenauer, these great founders of the European Union,” sighs the Pope. He continues to talk about the crisis in Europe, undermined by national selfishness, from small horse-trading and short-sighted games. "It confuses politics with circumstantial solutions. Of course, you must come to the negotiating table, but only if you are aware that you have to lose something because all we earn. "

no, its not.

Perhaps if people obeyed the openness to life and had children at more than 1.8 per family (even adopting would help) we wouldn’t have this “we need to have immigration to these countries”, Immigration has not been all women and children. The incident of horrifying rape on New Years in Germany proves this.

I am sure he’s talking about the Arabs that aren’t extemists,

Of course. The same paper that 5 years ago talked about the Polish invasion of the UK which of course involved greater numbers.

What does this mean? That they don’t carry the PC water for globalist leftism and like other EU outlets try and hide the truth to be politically correct?

Of course. The same paper that 5 years ago talked about the Polish invasion of the UK which of course involved greater numbers.
Polish invasion? :rotfl:

When’s the last time migrant Polish Catholics said they were going to conquer the UK or the world, impose 7th Century religious law, execute GLBTQ persons and form rape gangs to target female minors in and out of their neighborhoods.

More chances to Evangelize!
There do seem to be a lot of conversions, but if the paper got the Pope’s comments translated properly, the reality is if the immigrants are going to be a part of the EU future, they need to assimilate. It doesn’t they have to be for things like so-called gay “marriage”, but it does mean they need accept the basic principles of the civilized world, regardless of where they are from.

The recent Iraq/Syria crisis has exacerbated many of the immigration problems (such rape and sexual assault of women). Those problems existed long before they ever got there.

The real question is where is the incentive for them to be a part of society if even the natives hate society as many of them are too busy running around trying to be PC all the time?

Obviously irony is something that escapes you.

Did the poles coming in cause the rate of rape to skyrocket in the U.K?

Are the cultural differences between Brits and Poles and Brits and Middle Eastern Muslims equivalent?

According to the Daily Fail, they were responsible for everything from groping women to causing the re-emergence of the bubonic plague. So vitriolic that the Federation of Poles in Great Britain filed an official complaint about their prejudice. They are not to be trusted.londonprogressivejournal.com/article/view/83/polish-community-hits-back-at-daily-mail
