Oh, for goodness sake Robert; aren’t you 40 years late to the party with that line of thinking? I wonder how many guys have tried to get girls to smoke marijuana so they could engage in the true *experience *of love? :rolleyes:

What you are describing, Robert, is ‘scientism’. That is, only what can be experienced in the senses relates to ‘religion’ or God. Of course marijuana heightens those sensations and establishes them as ‘religious’ experiences.

This is nothing more than hard line Carl Sagan and scientism. It is opposed to Catholic spirituality as per Pope John Pauls encyclical Jesus Christ:The Water bearer of Life.
