May I respectfully suggest reading the Pope’s message from the Official Vatican Network as it does not have the baggage of another individual’s opinion.

As Pope Francis is not afraid to speak out, I am sure he would have said outright if it wasn’t intended as a general message for all the faithful irrespective of labels or nationality.

I agree. I’m pretty certain the misuse of the Pope’s message for partisan political purposes will “make you sick.”
