Why would you find that strange? The current Pope is effectively living in a hotel - by his own choice. Virtually all the priests and bishops in the western world are living in nicer places.

They should smell as their sheep stated our Holy Father one time. Pope Francis practices what he preaches. Key phrase underlined. The Cardinal, by his own choice, has taken a vow of poverty for the sake of the Kingdom. To back down on that seems odd and not exactly promoting the image of the Church that Pope Francis is aiming to portray.

Also, I think it would be refreshing to see an article about the Pope being ‘furious’ about the majority of Catholics using artificial contraception, or about the indoctrination of gay culture being spoon-fed by the media across the globe. The Church is in a spiritual crisis around the world and there is plenty to be furious about.
