I really like Pope Francis’ words that we need a pure heart, because only then will our actions be right in God’s eyes. His solution was right also: Let us ask God to give us a pure heart. This is not something we can do for ourselves. We cannot change who we are on the inside. All we can do is to ask God to change us. “Sacred Heart of Jesus, make my heart like your heart.”
