Nevertheless, it is clear all that has been done fighting Satan up until modern times HAS NOT been effective, so its time to try something new, after all, you cant keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result.

I think we need to come up with a new method in fighting Satan, something that will surprise him and will not see coming, that is the best way to defeat an enemy.

Not to mention Pope Leo XIII who wrote the St. Michael prayer:

“Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.”

The angelic nature is more intelligent and has a stronger will than ours; we can defeat Satan only with God’s help and using the weapons God gives us. We must simply use those weapons God gives us more and better: the sacraments, prayer, mortification, and almsgiving, and Increasing in virtue.

The devil has already been defeated; these are just the mopping up operations.

It probably surprised him that we removed the Prayer to St. Michael from the end of the Mass, the prayer Christine77 made reference to.
 
Satan is very much so here, now more than ever! We have to stay close to Jesus and His church.
