Pope Francis told moms it was ok to breastfeed in Sistine chapel

There’s no right or wrong place for a woman to nurse her baby. Personally, if it were me, I would bring a small blanket with me and cover my breast, without suffocating the baby!🙂

Exclusively breast fed babies do not know what to do with a bottle. You’ve probably been at church around breastfeeding mother’s plenty of times and never noticed because the majority of mothers are discreet.Have you ever seen a woman topless in church? Clearly its not a problem.

There are numerous statues and paintings going back many centuries of Mary nursing Jesus-clearly the church does not have a problem with displaying nursing in church.
 
I think Pope Francis is just saying to use your common sense without being an exhibitionist about it. And, not all babies take bottles. Mine won’t.
