No doubt you have some serious matter (concerning the Church or its leaders) that causes offense to your sense of what is right. The question is whether to withhold your funds entirely from the Church, which includes the charitable works of the Church, is an appropriate response. If you simply redirect those funds to alternative charitable agencies, I suppose your decision does little harm - though I suspect it also does little good.

I had a similar thought Rau. To wit, I was thinking of asking SuperLuigi if he has considered donating instead to Deacon Jim Russell? (Or Austin Ruse over at Breitbart, but I thought of Deacon Jim Russell first because the thread started with his writings.)
