Pope Francis: Who am I to judge gay people?

For all of so-called Catholic’s obsession with homosexuality, they seem to forget that Christ himself was not quoted once anywhere in the Gospels speaking against homosexuality. Not once.

Almost no Catholic was talking about homosexuality before the “gay” lobby started attacking natural marriage with the so-called same-sex “marriage” debate. We weren’t going into “gay” bars trying to proselytize them. We weren’t trying to pass laws against homosexual behavior. We were minding our own business when all of a sudden people started calling us bigots because we wouldn’t accept something that was made up out of thin air. How about we’ll stop talking about homosexuality when public schools and the secular media stops talking about it?

Didn’t seem to be a very high priority for Christ. Maybe it shouldn’t be such an obsession for Catholics.

Um…which “so-called” Catholics are you referring to? The Popes? The Bishops?

Are you Catholic? Because, your comment sounds like a sola scriptura argument…although, St Paul (another “so-called” Catholic?) does mention it in the Bible.

If you say you are against sodomy and fornication, you could condemn the activities of gays and most birth control users indirectly (most straights don’t sodomize, but some do), thus avoiding any laws prohibiting homosexuality. It is true that maybe homosexuals, real or perceived, were bullied by most all straights, but, when that gets stopped, it’s time for the others to quit the Freddy Krueger routine of hurting that generation by pervwrting their kids or they give the new generation cause to revenge on them, though that applies more to black on white crimes, where most kids would get angry, We Christians must undermine the hate profiteers…
