Even though the process has been opened, it will still take awhile for the process of beatification to be completed.

And they can’t count the miracles that already have been purported in his name. Do the miracles always have be a medical healing. Is there any record of a non-medical healing that put a saint into the record books?
 
I hope I live to see the day when we can officially acclaim Saint John Paul the Great.

ok lets all start asking John Paul the Greats intersesion, espesialy for people who are gravely ill. hopefully we’ll have a mirical happen sooner rather then later.

Agreed. I deeply regret that I never saw him in person. If I should live to see his canonization (it’s a question of when, not if) I want to go to Rome, or Krakow, or Wadowice, wherever it takes place.

I might be wrong, but I understood that all canonizations are proclaimed only in Rome.
