Whether Israel is doing something right or wrong, does not justify anti-semiticism. Our response to Chosen People has to be to tell the truth. Hatred of anyone, especially discrimination, is a grave sin. Thererfore, Chosen People is correct. Anti-semitism hurts the soul. It fills the soul with hatred.

When the soul is filled with hatred for a group of people, be they Jews, Blacks or Muslims, we have reduced the gift of human life. Bigotry is a sin against life itself. It is an attitude that not all human life enjoys the same rights and the same dignity as the rest of the children of God.

Fraternally,

True.
On the other hand, many people believe that Israel is not helping itself.
And that may be true. My point was that bigotry is never justifiable. That’s all I was trying to say.

I am enclosing a list of those innocent men women and children killed and injured in Israel by terrorist attacks(not war). Please see how since Israel’s extensive peace efforts since 1993 there has been an alarming rise in terror instead of the reverse. This is understandable if you read the covenant of the PLO (formed 1964 three years before the six day war and before any settlements) or the Hamas Charter (a truly anti-Semitic document that rejects all compromise and insists there can only be justice if all Jews and Christians live under Islam). The list unfortunately includes family members and friends.

I presume I don’t have to speak about the thousands of missiles fired into Israel for eight years, again ironically increasing in intensity after Israel withdrew from all of Gaza, evicted its citizens by force and destroyed their settlements and businesses all in the quest for peace.

Finally, as a war veteran (six tours of reserve duty protecting Christians in Lebanon from being massacred by Arafat’s Palestinian Arab Muslims and also rendering medical services to the local population in the first Lebanon war) I can say that every soldier has to make difficult decisions. Twice I did not open fire and as a result civilians were saved from injury. However, had my judgment been wrong, I would have the lives of my fellow soldiers and those civilians who job it was for me to protect on my conscience forever.

I know of a 2003 Italian case where a Judge ordered the removal of a crucufix from a school wall. The suit was brought by a Muslim leader not a Jewish one. I have been unable to find any articles relating to the removal of crucifixes at the request of Jewish leaders visiting in Rome. Perhaps you could give your source? (If I am unable to get back to thank you please take into account that my participation in controlling all the money and all the power in the world leaves me little time to participate on this forum).
One last comment chosen people, and remember you started it again… First of all your jokes are wasted on me for I am aware that Jews run the world today. Its a fact and there is no big deal about it, that is the way it is. Their power, for any with eyes to see, is such that they were even able to get democracies make historical revisionism a crime in many countries now. My God, who would have thought they would see the day when a historical opinion would be enough TO PUT PEOPLE IN PRISON and NOT A WHIMPER ABOUT IT FROM THE CHURCH, the SO-CALLED CHAMPIONS OF JUSTICE. They have been able to get any who question the statistics and logistics of Hitler’s purge against the jews as branded ‘anti-semetic’, i.e., a supposed hatred for Jews, even where none exists, for Bishop Williamson does not HATE anyone except the DEVIL HIMSELF… They have been able to get ecumenical-minded popes to believe this, accept this and by their antics SUPPORT THIS IMPRISONMENT, and on their orders make TRADITION conditional in the Church to holding the ‘politically correct’ opinion on the matter. Any idiot knows that wherever investigation is banned it usually means there is something to hide. What I do not know, for such things are at a different level to mundane things, for what we are talking about here is at the level of Principalities and Powers. The only holocaust was Christ’s death on the Cross, but now more people believe in the holocaust to replace it and nobody will be allowed to challenge this on any grounds. Now since the Bishop Williamson incident was conjured up out of the past to try to prevent TRADITION from emerging in the Church once again - as it will some day - there has been a flood of information and opinion on WHY the Jews timed their attack to coincide with the lifting of the pseudo-excommunications. So this ploy has BACKFIRED, for now thousands have been informed on the internet (the one thing nobody has control of) of opinions supporting Bishop Williamson’s position. When I read some of the blind leading the blind on this forum I despair at the ignorance on every level, but most of all to see ‘Catholics’ take up sides with the jews in condemning tradition in any way they can. The last thing they will think of doing is PRAY for modern Jews that they will convert, accept Christ, for only through Him will they attain salvation.

I was going to make fun of this post line by line, but I’ve recently made a promise to myself that I will not do anything that is easier than breathing.

Israel’s response in Gaza was disproportionate to the attack. Thousands of Palestinian children killed, in response to an attack which killed less than twenty Israelis. And Israel is bombing the hospitals which Catholic agencies have set up to help injured children:

However, is it not true, that many civilians in Gaza have been killed unnecessaritly?
Does Israel use white phosphorus indiscriminately against civilians?
youtube.com/watch?v=l0aEo59c7zU&feature=related

To your first question, people die in urban warfare and Israel doesn’t even come close to the top ten “disproportionate” responders. As to your second question, the anwer i no. Israel’s use of phosphours didn’t violate any international law and investigations will bear that out. And what does any of this have to do with the topic of the thread?

The question was brought up as to whether or not the minimisation of the Nazi holocaust was sufficient to re-excommunicate one of the bishops. And the question of anti-semitism was brought up. I simply say that the bombing of Catholic hospitals in Gaza strip and setting up a concentration camp ambience in the Gaza strip does not help Israel in its philosophical war agaisnt anti-semitsm.

No one is seriously claiming that “thousands” of children were killed. No one who knows anything about Jews, Jewish ethics or the ethics of the the I.D.F would make a serious claim that a hospital was deliberately bombed or civilians deliberately targeted. You have us mixed up with terrorist groups like Hamas which you so vehemently defend.

Exactly how are we Jews, who make up barely one quarter of one per cent of the world’s population, able to control the world? Is it through God or perhaps through Satan that this is possible? What special attributes do you believe the Jews have that allows them to do this? Why, since we control everything, do we allow so many anti-Semitic posts on this forum? Why, for that matter, did we allow Hitler and the Shoah?

You claim that you are chosen. Are you chosen to falsely claim that I vehemently defend the Hamas? . I am defending the thousands of innocent Palestinian children who have been brutally killed in this war. Do you as a chosen person, see the difference between defending innocent Palestinian children and terrorists? “Since Dec. 27, Israel has bombed Gaza’s government buildings, universities, mosques, schools, medical clinics. It is impossible to keep pace with the death and injury toll, which rises as I write: on Jan. 13, the Israeli human rights organization B’tselem reported 900 Palestinians killed, with more than 4,200 injured. The Israeli toll: three civilians and seven soldiers killed, more than 82 civilians and 61 soldiers injured. As for Israeli civilians killed by rockets, the Israel Project lists 25 dead during the past seven years.”
"On the broadcast program Democracy Now, a Norwegian doctor, Mads Gilbert, who had just returned from Gaza to Denmark, told host Amy Goodman that “90 percent of those killed are civilians.” Gilbert reported 971 dead, of whom 1 in 3 is a child under 18. He has worked in Gaza for years and was there for the first weeks of Israel’s assault.

The Times of London, Human Rights Watch and B’tselem all report the illegal use of white phosphorous to strike civilians. When white phosphorous adheres to flesh, its flames continue to burn for five to 10 minutes, often penetrating to the bone."
alternet.org/audits/120197/gaza_is_a_concentration_camp__/
"Pope Benedict’s point man for justice and peace issues on Wednesday issued the Vatican’s toughest criticism of Israel since the latest Mideast crisis began, calling Gaza a “big concentration camp.”

Cardinal Renato Martino, president of the Vatican’s Council for Justice and Peace, made his comments in an interview in the Italian online newspaper Il Sussidiario.net."

The sister-in-law of former British prime minister Tony Blair has called Gaza a “concentration camp” and a “humanitarian crisis on the scale of Darfur.”

According to the following article: “thousands of Palestinian children have been killed while travelling in a vehicle that did not stop for questioning by soldiers…”
electronicintifada.net/v2/article4439.shtml

No one is seriously claiming that “thousands” of children were killed.
According to the following artilcle:
rememberthesechildren.org/about.html
" From September 29, 2000, when the current Palestinian intifada erupted, through January 18, 2008, at least 1056 Palestinian and 123 Israeli youths under the age of 18 were killed in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories. "
The Israeli response has been disproportionate.

Well we have gone from thousands of children killed in a few weeks to a thousand children killed in seven years and three months.

However even these figures are nonsense as you presume that these deaths are related to Israel combat actions as well as being accurate. Most of the websites your referenced are similar to giving facts and information about Jews from Jew watch or stormfront.

Any reference to Jews as Nazi’s or Gaza as a “concentration camp” is historically and factually incorrect as well an insult to all survivors of the Shoah and their families. The fact that it was made by a Catholic church official, who to the best of my knowledge has subsequently been rebuked by the Vatican for making this statement, is even more horrendous.

That’s not entirely correct. It is a holocaust denial incident, not “miminization.”. The rest of the baseless rhetoric in your post has been and I am sure will be again, ablely addressed by Chosen People and others. I"m just too tired to keep responding to hate speech veiled as political discussion today.

This thread has gone way off the track. I thought the idea was to see where the four SSPX bishops are going now and for Catholics and non Catholics to understand what the Church expects of the four bishops as well as what the Church has to say about their position on certain things.

There is no doubt that the Catholic Church finds Bishop Williamson’s statements about the Shoah irresponsible and incompatible with her beliefs. That should be the lead that the rest of the world should follow. Williamson’s statements are not representative of the official Catholic belief.

How did we get into discussing the internal conflicts of Israel with the Arab world around them?

I’m lost. 🤷🤷

Fraternally,

JR 🙂
