This sounds like a good appointment. Keeping a familiar CDF voice around.

We should sing a Te Deum that it wasn’t Tucho Fernandez.

This is from 2014:
Speaking three days after the close of the Synod of Bishops, Archbishop Ferrer, who is also a professor at the Pontifical Gregorian University and an active member of the International Theological Commission, recommended that divorced and remarried persons “part with their new partner and reconcile with those they are separated [from]” or “live as brother and sister.”

I wonder what will happen to the only 69 year old Cardinal Mueller. A ceremonial post like +Burke? As Prefect of the CDF, basically anything is a demotion.

I am very optimistic by Archbishop Ladaria’s appointment, despite (admittedly) being worried when first seeing the initials after his name.

I’m especially relieved after hearing some of the other names that were being thrown around as candidates for this position.

I’m interested in seeing how Ladaria leads the CDF.

I have a very bad opinion about this Pope but we must wait several months, but in Italy in Europe with his proislam and proinvasion views we are very angry with him, the muslims is the main group to be evangelized because atheist and agnostics don´t reproduce and this Pope is an ignorant about it, we need a John Paul II about the islamism, because these challenges are too much for the argentinian.

I think I’d prefer an Urban II to be honest.
