The Holy Father has sent a telegram of condolence following the death of Cardinal Rodolfo Ignacio Quezada Toruno, archbishop emeritus of Guatemala, yesterday.
Cardinal Quezada Toruno, who presided over the peace process in Guatemala, died on yesterday at the age of 80. The Catholic Church in Guatemala said he died in hospital in the capital, Guatemala City, due to a stomach blockage.
