No, of course not. However, it is obvious that the states who have conservative leaders at the local and state level are the ones who are also enacting laws which make it harder for abortion clinics to operate, and in many cases have led to the closing of many abortion facilities. The states which have liberal politicians at the local and state level are the ones working to more deeply entrench abortion and in some cases, even expand it.

The big picture is of course, the overturning of Roe, however, short of that, much good work can still be done. A 25% reduction in abortion would equal millions of lives saved. That is worth doing, even if it does not accomplish the total victory that we need.

One thing that we can obviously see is that enacting laws which chip away at Roe is never going to happen at the federal level with a liberal president.
 
I LOVE learning that our Holy Father, Pope Francis, blesses babies while the babies are still within their mothers womb.

While overturning Roe (returning power back to the states) may seem like a worthwhile goal, it wonā€™t be the ultimate goal. That will require a complete change in the mindset of liberals, conservatives, libertarians, etc. that people donā€™t have the right to kill their offspring, period.

Agreed. However, that has to be a major part of the process of setting things on the right track. Short of our Blessed Lordā€™s return, there will always be people who do not believe in the natural law and who murder innocents.

Well the church believes that receiving communion unworthily is a grave sin, and while she teaches that someone guilty of a grave sin should not present himself to receive she also teaches that anyone guilty of ā€œobstinately persevering in manifest grave sinā€ should be denied communion.

So, if we accept that the church understands what Jesus taught then, since the church says those who meet the condition cited above - and publicly supporting abortion meets that criterion - then, since the church would deny communion we should assume that Jesus would deny it as well.
