I have this internal rage that peaks out and expresses itself in words once in a while. In other words sometimes I am too outspoken about people and things I would be better off? not speaking about. As you already know, there have been many changes in the past 40 years! Introduction of “Secular Humanism!!!” And, many “Judas Goats!” within! Way too many of my Catholic friends who faithfully attend the “Novus Ordo” have become, either, casually- pro-choice…OR see nothing wrong with abortion!!! Something is very wrong @ the top, here! Everything is kind of “upside down and backwards!!!” In the WORDS of Jesus Christ: “I KNEW YOU BEFORE YOU WERE IN YOUR MOTHER’S WOMB!!!”…may just have a much deeper meaning! And: “IF YOU ARE OF THIS WORLD, YOU ARE NOT WITH ME” I contemplate both of these, often! I am currently, invoking and saying Novena to Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha! She need one more miracle to reach Sainthood! Have found much comfort and peace with Blessed Kateri! God Bless! Maureen Worhach
You are right. There is something dreadfully wrong @ the top here in the USA and I am not talking about the present Dem. secular administration. I am talking about the clergy who won’t speak out in support of the Church’s teachings. I am talking about the clergy who misdirected the laity at election time. I am talking about the clergy who refuse to protect the Body of Christ from sacrilege and contine to allow communion to be given to pro abort pols.
I suppose you could say I am extremely angry and frustrated in seeing the Catholic Church undermined here in this country.
But also, please don’t blame all the pains the Church is going through on us NO attending Catholics. The NO is all we have known for over forty years and in my parish it is done reverently. Maybe not as reverently as it could be, but reverently. I grew up with the latin Mass and love it dearly. If and when it regains its appearance in my area once again, I will probably go. But til then we have to live with what we have as long as it is reverently done.
Many thanks for the reminder about St.Kateri Tekakwitha. She was one of my favorite Saints in grade school.
