Well, I guess the church has come a long way where we just ignore people we disagree with rather than denounce then as heretics and torture and kill them…

This is poppycock. More people were killed in 1 day in the 20th century than were killed in the Inquisition. Doesn’t make the abuses of the Inquisition right, by any means, but lets avoid that straw man argument, please.
