I agree with just about everything you said except for this. I still think it was a dumb move, but that’s okay. The pope was NOT exercising his infallibility here. We are free to agree/disagree with such an action (even though it still won’t change anything).

My referral to the infalliblity issue was in a general context - not in referance to the issue of the title as such (and still agree with the Pope !)

A Blessed Easter and Feast of Divine Mercy to all - beginning to realise there might be more to this Feast , in the area of unity; the importance given to the Image of Mercy - may be somewhat like of the icon veneration of East , the two rays , the prayers of The Novena where all members, including the separated are included , the pleading for mercy on all and The Feast falling the same in most years when The Orthodox celebrate Easter !
