Conflict? No way! They’re a duo. We are lucky to have them both.

I will never fully understand Pope Benedict’s decision to resign, but then again I never walked in his red shoes to fully know his situation. That said, while I am doubtful that he fully approves of the direction the Church has gone in under Francis, I don’t think Benedict wants any part of any split, certainly not on his own behalf.

Yes and the book was discredited by Rabbi David G. Dalin in “The Myth of Hitler’s Pope.”

Cornwell fabricated his story of seeing the secret letters and documents of Pope Pius XII.

It turns out, that he had applied for permission to use the Vatican Library which kept those letters and documents by Pope Pius XII and the Vatican approved his application.

The problem was, he never showed up, but merely used already public documents, then fabricated his own version of other events.

I don’t understand why we should consider every piece of trash published anywhere in the media. Credibility of the source is what is important.

Pope Francis has a lot to say on rejecting gossip and how it is damaging and sinful.

this article is full of unsubstantiated gossip.

Please let it go.
This is fake news re the undead Pope emeritus.

Its an obsession of some attached to 1Peter5 that Pope Benedict is still the true Pope and Francis is illegitimate. Though they wont come out and actually say that of course.

Yes, it is. Well spotted! And his latest effluent published in that distinguished theological journal, Vanity Fair, is evidently compounded from the same ingredients.
