The childhood home of the future Pope Benedict XVI was paint-vandalized Tuesday evening with obscene writings, according to German police.

well, today seems to be the day for me to be sickened by a lot of the news, but this is terrible. There is no excuse for this behavior. It’s got to be frightening and meant for intimidation. I hope they catch who is responsible.

So, the rabble-rousing is now at the point where it is provoking malevolent actions. That is a frightening development. And it is nothing short of lamentable to see the old German propensity for reactionary behavior once again manifested in the physical defacing of the property of a perceived enemy. Instead of the Star of David, what was it this time…an inverted cross? This thing is escalating out of control, and real violence seems to be lurking in the near distance. I am becoming alarmed.
 
It’s so very hard to remain charitable when people are so blinded by evil that they commit evil thinking they are fighting it.

The temptation to wish harm upon these people is crushing. Unbelievable, simply unbelievable.

I don’t like child molestation either, but I don’t go out and vandalize the homes of sex offenders.
 
This is so enraging. Is it starting to appear that Father Cantalamessa’s homily on Good Friday is not too irrelevant now?

Might end up like the Paris Mob during the Reign of Terror.
Let`s hope and pray that all of the churches and cathedrals have good security.
