Thanks, is it wrong to hate yourself? i hate myself everyday Yes, i’m in love with this Girl, i’m 15 she’s 16 But That doesn’t Matter right? All i wanna do is be with this girl only, i Would Never Look at Porn Again if i was even at least buddies with her . i’m Always depressed i Would be the worlds happiest guy if i was with her man even friends i’d take that just being near her is all i want

Ahhh… I see the problem… Surprisingly I’m the same age as you I used to struggle with the same thing. It pulled me in for 2 years, but Jesus pulled me out.
I realized one day that it HAD to STOP. I remember I had stopped for 2 days and I really felt temptation. That was until I, finally, by the grace of God set my foot down and said “Enough! I will not sin against my Lord who loves me so much!” I recited the Saint Michael the Archangel prayer… And that was it… and I’ve been clean to this day.

You are too young to date!! You should only date when you can support yourself and her! And the worst problem is that you are making this girl your first love and priority, not GOD!
You’re trying to stop for the wrong reasons. Instead of stopping for her, stop for Jesus God Almighty! And yes, go to confession! It’s the best thing for you now. Jesus is calling you back to Him. Whenever you feel that temptation coming back, grab your Rosary and start praying, or you should ask someone to drive you to Adoration. It’s the best thing for you. Sorry if I sound harsh or mean, but take it from someone who struggled with the same thing for 2 years!.. deep breath… I’m done

Would you guys say i’m a good kid? i don’t drink or do drugs i’ve only took a sip of beer once and thought it tasted like horse pee i’m actually a stay at home guy sort of, No it’s not an obsession, Don’t like going places much, Yes We’ve Talked i’ve texted her before, i Really Can’t Say i’ve been the best christian I’ve was almost a satanist then atheist But i Know God does exist i Know i’m in Mortal Sin actually i’ve committed a lot of mortal sins but wouldnt you say i’m not evil if i’m actually wanting to change right? before, i didn’t know if i was evil or good

At one point, right after I came back to the Lord, I had a real problem with SEXUAL OBSESSION. My Confessor suggested that I do 2 things when IMPURE THOUGHTS entered my mind;

1. Each & every time ASAP (discretely) make the sign of the cross on my forehead (The Desert Fathers said the demons flee from the very sign of the cross) as a prayer asking for God’s assistance in dealing with the temptation.
2. Daily asked God to remove the urges, to at least give me the strength to resist them, so I could concentrate on HIM.

Now, this girl is a real obsession for you, so I want you of offer her to the Lord. I want you to “Pledge yourself & her to Heaven” as that song I asked you to play said. If she is meant to be in your life, the 2 of you will come together in 4 or 5 years, when you’re able to seriously discuss matters such as your spirituality, what you want to do with your lives, where you want to live, what marriage and family means to you. If not, please don’t do anything to cause this to happen in the meantime. I’ve done disobedience, and I’ve seen disobedience, and the results are almost always real ugly!

I saw one brother marry a girl when he was 19 and she was 16 because she was pregnant, and I saw one brother get involved with a girl where they were using drugs and she had a child and they were only 16 or 17. I remember pulling the 2nd one off of his girlfriend’s car after he shattered the driver’s side window with his fist while their baby was inside. and, I haven’t spoken to the family of the 1st because his wife got REAL ANGRY at me once and they NEVER forgave me (I got real upset when she & some of her friends took over my “room” without asking for my permission & then used illegal drugs in the room). It’s kind of hard to speak to someone who won’t tell you where he lives…

I’ve seen what ends up happening to people who mess with Satan - I’ve lived through and seen things that would cause your hairs to stand on end as a frightened porcupine. So, Please Attend to what we say here…

Our Lord said it was VITAL that you replace this stuff with God-Centered activity and that you center your life on him. As a Start, check and see what your parish (or other parishes in your area) is doing with Youth/Young Adult Bible Study/Prayer Groups.

I can only hope this provides you with a START - I don’t know where you live, so I can’t tell you which group to go to or what to join. The Knights of Columbus are usually good, but it’s a more adult group, and they’re more set up for “peer to peer” bonding than discipleship.

Dude I used to have the same problem The reason I was addicted to porn was the unsatisfactory of my own self, and my disgust for the out side world of people in general that I know.
I’m not going to go into complete details. But I’m guessing you probably need to get your self esteem up man. Just decide your not going to put up with the porn anymore and quit cold turkey. Start working out all the time, and read Leviticus, there are some good assertive scriptures in that book. Also the less and less pervy you are the more woman will respect you as a leader, so I’ve found out in my own rehabilitation.
Go to Google and look up Catholic super site.That site is run by a Brother who has an online AA for sex addicts, and its moderated by the church, so your not going to meet some weirdo to exchange videos with.
Be hard on yourself and determined, you’ll shift the habit; but do it before you get so addicted that a naked woman doesn’t get you arouse anymore. It takes a lot of repentance but you can do it. Before you know it you’ll be wanting to throw up when you look at porn instead of getting high from it.

I made in mistake in my reply to you when I said the Lord would conform His will to your heart. I really should have said that, in rare situations, the Lord would CONFORM OUTSIDE CIRCUMSTANCES TO YOUR HEART. When we’re really faithful to Him, when we’re fixated on Him, He sometimes allows allows that to happen.

None of us wants to sound harsh, but we’ve ALL been where you are right now, and we’ve all either made the choice you want us to allow you yo make, or we’ve seen others make it. and, We’ve either lived with the effects ourselves, or watched others live with them, or picked up the pieces of our lives after the disasters we’ve made of our lives, or helped others picked up the pieces of their lives.

And, We all know that being as on fire for the Lord as you’re on fire for this girl doesn’t have the same consequences. There are consequences, but they’re different, but the rewards are so much better. I know some of our brothers here are going to howl, but I want you to look at the life of someone I used to live with way back when - I don’t remember the guy ever not having a smile on his face or a tune on his lips. He’s a Protestant Missionary planting churches in Hungary, and he loves what he does…

I’ve found that a lot of the people I’ve met are often wiser than I am, so I’m not afraid to allow them to speak for me on these boards.
