ClearWater: **you still do not answer about the Pentecostal woman made silenced as she was about to do a exorcism of their own and being forced bowing to the demon as the demon likes to say and that holy ghost in her. HOw does a sickness make a person cough really bad and strip her of her voice and strangle her almost to her knees??? Truly seriqual(however you spell it) will take care of that demonic influence.

and no priest can lift a vow to God, only God himself can do that. Like saying you can do vows in marriage and well the priest just has to say it is ok to get a divorce and another can have a go in marraige. YOU KNOW NOTHING OF THE LORD, only your priest and your faith in man.
I honestly don’t know about that. I wasn’t there, can’t really speak to that.
Okay…let’s say everything you have told me is 100% correct, that you are, indeed, possessed. Still, I know if I were in a situation like that, I’d get myself to a priest. However, that being said, I still think a priest may have a requirement that you seek psychiatric evaluation before continuing.
Why? Well, the Catholic Church, has worked with all kinds of people over the years. Some people have mental illnesses, some not. Some are really honestly and truly possessed, some not. It’s experienced all kinds of scenarios. It’s been dealing with possession and such for a couple of millenia, before a lot of these other churches even existed.
In light of all its many experiences, I think the Church has learned to develop criteria and procedures, not assume every case presented is possession, not mental illness, because that would be an incorrect assumption Wouldn’t you agree?
There are cases of people, say, with delusions (may or may not even be your situation). Now, you may say, “What’s the harm of doing an exorcism on somebody who is not really possessed, just mentally ill?” The harm could be this. If a priest says to the person for the demon to come out, it will
REINFORCE the delusion! In other words, it could make that delusion, stronger! It could make matters worse.
So, I think, in its wisdom, the Church tries to determine what it´s dealing with. I don’t think this is anything personal, just something it has had to do. Other churches may not have this criteria, but I see this as a good thing, though I know it must seem like an inconvenience, and not at all necessary in your particular case.
If you could consider being patient, bearing with these inconveniences, it just might be worth you while. You have been wrestling with this for 11 years, unsuccessfully. What you have tried, up to now, has not been working.
I know you are concerned that this, too, would not work. However, you just can’t go on this way! This is no kind of life. Yes, there are risks. There’s a risk this might not work. I have to admit that. However, what if it did?
It’s your decision.
