Since you’re already Catholic, all you need to do is go to confession and return to regular Mass attendance. None of that requires any fanfare. It’s really that simple.
I don’t think she said that at all.lilypadrees:![]()
Do you mean you don’t see Jesus in your Protestant neighbors?I said that Jesus is the One to go to for guidance.
Where do you expect to find God, if not in your neighbors, regardless of their faith?I believe in going to the top. That means I go to Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
It was a serious question, prompted by your statement that you “disagree about looking to Protestants for guidance in anything.”I think you just want to argue this, @AndrewAxlland. And I believe I have made myself quite clear.
Sounds like you are at a great place in your faith journey, with regards to your convictions and determination. Wouldn’t it be nice if we helped everyone who wasn’t that far get to that place?see this a lot on the forum…those that blame their lack of Faith on others. I’m not sure how that will fly when you stand in front of Jesus. Well you know Jesus I left your Church and rejected your Sacramnents because well gosh darn it the welcoming committee didn’t return my call. I’m not sure I’d want to go in front of Jesus with that game plan.
You’re back and posting again?Sounds like you are at a great place in your faith journey, with regards to your convictions and determination. Wouldn’t it be nice if we helped everyone who wasn’t that far get to that place?
For all those here who are so proud of their strong faith and not needing other people (as opposed to Jesus and God), maybe lending a hand to others who aren’t that far in their journey would be a good (and right) thing to do. It may begin with extending some open arms and a warm smile with the word “welcome”.
No. That flouncy thread was pretty recent, which is what confused me. Seems to be a lot of that going around these days. Welcome back.Periodically. Is that an issue?
