And did anyone mention “existential threat,” which I am soooooo tired of hearing!

How about “beautiful”? As Trump is wont to say: “we shall have a beautiful new health plan!” and “I had a beautiful reply…” When shall we have that “beautiful” new health plan? The next day when he will voluntarily reveal his tax returns. Not to mention: “genius”! “I am a very stable genius!” listen to Randy Rainbow’s song:

“It is what it is.” Several words, but way overused. It’s also dismissive.

Optics

as appearances
Example: “There are still concerns around the optics of corporate meetings abroad.”

if we can use combinations rather than single words, “very unique.”

🤯

“there’s more only one of it than most things that there are only one of” . . .

And as an economist, “Great Recession” is at the top of my list.

It wasn’t even a bad recession; it’s just that millennials had never even seen a real recession before, as they weren’t born, or at least not old enough to observe, in 1983.

The aftermath in which there wasn’t a normal recovery for eight years makes it stand out, but as a recession, it was “just another recession.”

I also think we should drop this word, toxic. It has toxically become overused, misused, and abusive.

I hear the teenagers using it all the time with eaxhother. 😦
