I often remember to pray (and ask for prayers) when things are bad, but today I would like to ask for prayers of praise and thanksgiving. A dear friend of mine delivered healthy twins on the 4th. She went into preterm labor in May, but managed to hold out until last week, when she was 36 weeks! Both babies were over 6 pounds! And babies and mom are doing well! Praise God!

I offer my prayers of thanksgiving as well, for this family as well as all my blessings. Thanks for reminding me 😃

I remembered your intention in my morning rosary. Praise be to God.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Loving Father, Your mercy brings tears to our eyes, so profound it is! We praise Your Holy Name to Highest Heaven, for You alone are good. You alone have strengthened this mother to risk all out of love of the two precious souls You sent her. We bask in Your love. We thank You and we praise You, Lord of mercy and of Love. Amen! Alleluia!

Praise the Lord for a couple new healthy Americans! Thanks also to him for Mom’s sacrifice in holding off on their delivery.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Lord, your name is holy and your mercy is proclaimed from generation to generation.
Accept the prayers of your people
and let them sing of your greatness for ever.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.
