Five mentally challenged adults were killed yesterday in an accident with a tractor-trailer. They were on their way to the Pittsburgh zoo for an outing when it happened. Please pray for them, the survivors of the accident and their families.

Lord, please be with the families of these individuals who have gone to be with you!
 
Lord in Heaven, you conceived of these five souls from all eternity as an irreplaceable part of Your Divine Plan. You lovingly sustained them throughout their lives, providing for them in all of their needs. We entrust them to Your Mercy and Your eternal care, O Lord. Graciously incline Your ear to hear the intercession of Christ Jesus on their behalf. Strengthen their families and loved ones in this time of sorrow by revealing Your love and Goodness to them. May our prayers be joined with those of the Angels and Saints to form a seamless garment of petition for the repose of their souls. We ask this through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

This is heartbreaking. I am praying for them.

God you are an awesome God. We pray for your gift of peace and wisdom.
Father, take your children to heaven and comfort the affected families, and we trust that you know best.
