Pray for all Children

I pray especially for all neglected and abused children in my own state,those in foster care and those constantly in trouble with the law because of their tumultuous home life.

Our Father…
Hail Mary…
And Glory be…
 
O glorious St. Joseph, to you God committed the care of His only begotten Son amid the many dangers of this world. We come to you and ask you to take under your special protection the children God has given us. Through holy baptism they became children of God and members of His holy Church. We consecrate them to you today, that through this consecration they may become your foster children. Guard them, guide their steps in life, and form their hearts after the hearts of Jesus and Mary.

St. Joseph, who felt the tribulation and worry of a parent when the child Jesus was lost, protect our dear children for time and eternity. May you be their father and counselor. Let them, like Jesus, grow in age as well as in wisdom and grace before God and men. Preserve them from the corruption of his world, and give us the grace one day to be united with them in Heaven forever.
 
St. Agnes, patron saint of children,
watch over the children of the world;
keep them safe from harm;
be with them in their hour of need;
and always pray for them.

Lord Jesus, You asked your apostles to let the little children come to You and You laid Your hands on them and blessed them. We ask You now to take all children into Your care and to grant them Your grace and blessings.

Time and circumstances have contributed to forming the children of today’s world, and some of that formation has not been good. People, too, have influenced the children and we ask now that only the good influences may prevail.

Help us to help all children. Help us to find the proper things to do to change their lives for the better. Help us to be trustworthy friends and good examples for the children, so they may grow in wisdom and grace.

Grant that those people and events that have led them away from a good Christian life may no longer have any influence. Let all children, especially our own children and those who have touched our lives come to You. Amen

St. Pancras, pray for all teenagers that their faith may be as strong as yours, strong enough to lead them through all the trials of their life.

St. Pancras, pray for all children and young adults, that they may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

This day Lord, guide all Your young people, those among us who are most impressionable and vulnerable. Give to them the warmth, care and nurturance that young life deserves and needs. Hold close to Your heart the young people who daily struggle because of a home environment that is not life-giving and supportive. Most especially, remember the children and youth who are without parents, those in foster care and those incarcerated.

Inspire these children and youth with your Word; assist them so that they may believe in Your Good News and the Kingdom in their midst. Create in them hearts of love, compassion, mercy and forgiveness that they may become agents of justice, peace and hope in their families, neighborhoods and communities.

Lord we pray for Your mercy and compassion, We live in troubled times, and the answers to our problems are not simple or easy. Send Your Spirit upon us to strengthen our resolve to root out the violence, hate, and fear in our lives. Replace it with Your forbearance and love. Create in us hearts of courage, grace us with the ability to stand against the violence of our day: the violence in ourselves, our homes, streets and communities. In your name we pray, Amen.

Prayer for All Children

Lord, we ask you to help us hear the cry of our children and become advocates for youth and children in our society. Help us to create room for children in the church, promote their place in our life and worship so that they can ‘be themselves’ and develop as you would have them develop. Help us also to humbly listen to them and learn from them.
Amen.
