Subject: Received today re: Fr. Corapi
Father Corapi to have surgery this week

Dear Prayer Warriors
The following was sent to me by Sue Lopez and written by Terry, a
pro-life sidewalk counselor there in San Diego. It is the accurate
details on Fr. Corapi’s health–Let’ s pray for his successful surgery
this week.
God bless,
Celine

I know many of you have been concerned about Father Corapi and his
health. The rumors were indeed true, but thanks to Father Corapi’s Weekly
Wisdom program , (fathercorapi. com), he addressed the whole issue on his
health in today’s program (March 29th). Realizing most of you aren’t
subscribers, I will give you the overview. However, should you want to
watch it yourself, the quality is excellent and you can buy a month’s
package for $10.

Bottom line, Father Corapi has a parathyroid tumor and will be going back
to the Mayo Clinic next week for surgery. It’s a very rare (6 in 1
million men get it), tumor, which is 98% of the time not cancerous. The
good news is they ruled out lymphoma, which is what they thought he had.
He goes through great detail explaining and extolling the Mayo Clinic,
his tests, and our obligation to keep our bodies as healthy as we can. He
also said for the past 7 months he was too sick to get out bed 70% of the
time; intense exhaustion with flu-like symptoms (a result of the excess
calcium this type of tumor causes, in addition to osteoporosis) . Surgery
is the only cure.

As you might suspect, he turned his experience into a redemptive
suffering lecture, reminding us that God’s true power comes via our
weakness. He also touched on what I’ve seen more and more recently
especially among strong Catholics close to Mary and who offer their
sufferings and that is the obvious; how much the world right now needs
the help of redemption from the souls willing and able to offer it back
to Christ via Mary, united to the cross. I’m sure most of us figured out
it was pretty obvious that God needed Father Corapi’s suffering
especially during Holy Week.

He talked in fairly great detail about his week of tests; including the
anxiety for his family, about maybe ‘checking out,’ i.e., having cancer,
etc. In his forever wit, he joked about the benefit and happiness of
dying (except for the pain to his family), rather than having to endure
and see the face of a certain next US President. He quite seriously said
death would be better than having to endure the next likely president for
four years. Yikes!

Anyway, please spread the world to keep Father C in your prayers. His
favorite prayer is the Memorare, which is what he asked be prayed for him
when he was first admitted to the Mayo Clinic. He wrapped up his segment
with the profound words from his thesis on redemptive suffering: To be
set at the foot of the cross is to be set at the pinnacle of all human
possibilities

O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth shall proclaim your praise.
Thank You All,in love,terese

Dear Lord bless and heal Father Corapi , your servant and your child and let him be totally healed from his illness . Lord if he is in surgery lead the surgeons throughout the operation and let it be a total success . thank you Lord, in the name of Jesus, amen . God bless Father Corapi, John

Lord of Heaven and Earth, You conceived of Father Corapi from all eternity as an irreplaceable part of Your perfect plan. You brought him forth and cared for him throughout his life. You did not abandon him as he wandered from You, and ordered all things in his life for the good of Your Kingdom. Loving God, You allowed him to have worldly knowledge, ability and success. He tasted the finest that this earth has to offer. The Kings of old would have traded their wealth for such opulence! Yet, You waited as his life of plenty became one of excess and licentiousness. And when the untethered spiral of his life found earth, Your love was ready for the attentive ear. His heart was ready to turn. Lord, he was feeling the flames of his iniquity. He was as gold filled with impurities. By the flames of his desires You began his repentance. At the moment that his molten spirit reflected Your Divine Image, you mercifully withdrew him from the consuming fire. His now purified soul was ready for Your Hand to fashion a suitable servant. You spoke to his spirit in a whisper. Exhausted from Your Mercy, he listened intently and struggled to begin a pilgrimage of service. You now had a cooperative heart which was the new creation begun at his baptism. Lord, You sent him on a mission of mercy, since You are the source of all mercy. He carries the light of Christ to dispel the darkness that pervades our world, and reminds us of the shame we bear for our insolence. Yet, Lord, even this is mercy, as he calls us to turn from our sin! Father, Your new creation, Your good and faithful servant, has always needed our prayers. And so, in his current affliction, we lift him up to You in praise for Your Goodness. Graciously hear the intercession of our Risen Lord Jesus, on Father Corapi’s behalf. We offer our prayers for his spiritual and physical healing; that they may be combined with those of the Angels and Saints to call Heavenly Graces down upon him. We ask all of this through the Divine Intercessor, Christ Jesus, Your only Begotten Son. Amen! Alleluia!

My Daily Prayer for Fr. Corapi:

May our prayers, faith and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ restore Fr. Corapi’s health! I pray to our Blessed Mother, whom Fr. Corapi so idolizes, that she watch over him and intercede to our Father on his behalf. “Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, JESUS. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, AMEN.”

Praying to Our Blessed Mother to return our dear Fr. Corapi to us in good health - soon!🙂

Lord God, I ask you to help Father Corapi have a swift and full recovery. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother. To thee do I come, before thee I kneel, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer them.
Amen.

I have included healing for Fr. Corapi and prayers for the soul of Fr. Bill in some of my Rosaries and masses that I have attended.

Does anyone have an update on Fr. Corapi’s health? I’m curious to know how he is doing. Still praying for him. God bless and take care of him!

I heard he had surgery a couple of weeks ago and had been quite ill for several months.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and bessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of death. Amen

FOR FATHER CORAPI and ALL PRIESTS THAT ARE SICK.

LORD have mercy

May our prayers and faith in Christ restore Fr. Corapi’s health! I know our Blessed Mother, whom Fr. Corapi so idolizes, is watching over him. *“Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, JESUS. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, AMEN.” *
Carol,

I know that it may seem like Fr. Corapi “Idolizes” the Blessed Mother of God, but the correct term is “Venerates”. Fr. Corapi doesn’t idolize the Blessed and immaculate Mother of God, He properly loves and venerates her as the Mother of the Church.

Worship belongs to God.

Your Brother in Christ, Michael
