Loving Father, I come before You trusting in Your goodness, kindness, and the power of your healing love.
As I lift up before You, Joy, heal her Lord of her breast cancer.
Lord You know all things, You can do all things and I know You love her very much.
Only You know what is best for her and what she needs in terms of healing.
As I raise her up to You, let it be Your hands touching her, healing her, and bringing her wholeness of body, mind, emotions and spirit.
Let the grace of Your divine love and power flow to her right now to reach the inner recesses of her being and spread to the different parts of her body.
Take away any pain or feeling of discomfort, correct any mal-functioning of her bodily organs and tissues.
Melt with the heat of Your healing love all abnormal and cancerous growths, arrest the further spreading of those sick cells and create in her new and healthy cells.
Root out all the hurts embedded in her subconscious through the years.
Heal all feelings of rejection, anger, frustration, aggravation, all painful memories of the past and repercussions of traumatic experiences.
As You root out all these hurts, fill that void with Your spirit of love, peace and understanding, acceptance, meekness and tenderness, kindness, concern and generosity.
Help her to completely surrender to You her cancer sickness.
Deliver her from dwelling on self-pity, fears, anxieties, hopelessness and all negative thoughts.
Give her the grace to offer all her pains and difficulties for other suffering people, especially those sick with cancer with no one to support them and pray for them.
Help her to see the blessing in each trial, to realise each victory from every tear, to see Your guiding hand and feel Your loving presence in everything that is happening to her, confident that You are totally in control.
Help her to learn lessons from mistakes of the past and work on changes in her life and her way of living.
And then, dear Lord, after she has been healed, may her life be a witness to Your love, peace, and healing power for others and bring glory, honour, and praise to You.
All this I pray in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of Mary and all the angels and saints.

UPDATE :
Dear friends, thank you for all your prayers for Joy . Whilst she has at last healed physically from her mastectomy operation , and has been able to return to work , albeit in a less demanding position , the effect of such an operation obviously goes beyond the physical and can leave emotional and mental scars , which I suspect people subjected to these sort of operationa sometimes attempt to hide on the surface . Accordingly , whilst Joy has asked me to thank you most gratefully for your prayers which have helped her through her ordeal, she has also asked that you might continue your prayers , at least for a little while . May God bless you all for your loving prayerfulness . Natalie .
